# submit

> Submit a signed transaction and read the confirmation.

`submit` sends a transaction you have already verified and signed. It resolves with `status`, the transaction `hash`, and the `ledger` it landed in. A failed submission throws a [`LumenWipeApiError`](/sdk/errors).

Submit transactions in `order`, and wait for each to confirm before the next. For an account that needs several signers, collect signatures on the same envelope until the threshold is met, then submit once.

Because closing an account is irreversible, never submit a transaction you did not verify first.
